‘Cressie’ the Crescent Lake Monster – Roberts Arm, Newfoundland and Labrador
If you make it all the way to Newfoundland, a further 30 minutes from the closest time zone, you’ll be treated to a giant lake monster statue in Roberts Arm. Legend tells of an eel-like creature that lives in Crescent Lake, and reports of its size vary from 5’4” to 15’ long. Considered the “‘Loch Ness’ of Newfoundland,” Cressie is worth a visit.
