14 Wonderful Bookstores You Need to Visit
| July 7, 2017
Faulkner House – New Orleans, USA
This tiny bookstore is located in an apartment in New Orleans which was once owned by William Faulkner. Like Shakespeare and Company in Paris, Faulkner House is also open for overnight visitors – but they tend to be much more highbrow than the Shakespeare and Company tumbleweeds.
If you don’t have enough cash to spend a night, you can still browse the shelves and pick out a new book or two to buy. Just don’t linger too long. Rumor has it that Faulkner’s ghost gravitates towards beautiful women, just as he did in life.
