O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat
Named in honor of Bernard O’Reilly, a bushman who assisted in the rescue of passengers from a plane crash in the area in 1937, this rainforest retreat is an idyllic locale with many beautiful hiking trails. Some hikers have attempted to navigate their way to the wreck site solo, but a surer bet is going with a guided excursion.
