Dreamy sceneries, a little bit of physical activity, nature’s music and a panorama over the land of the area – these are just a few things that will make your visit here an unforgettable one. Giumalău is a group of mountains belonging to the Eastern Carpathians. Lying along Giumalău and Chiril Springs, this wonder is composed of crystalline rocks (crystalline schist). The highest peak is Giumalău peak. With an 1858 meters altitude, it’s also the highest one in Bukovina.

Of course, you don’t have to complete the entire route – you can take a shorter walk and still enjoy some amazing scenery. No matter which option you choose, please be sure to wear proper shoes!
