Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo is featured heavily in You Only Live Twice, with Sean Connery on his fifth turn as Bond. Although most of the action takes place within the city of Tokyo (or filmed in places doubling as Tokyo), one of the most beautiful scenes was filmed at Himeji Castle in Hyogo, which served as the location for Tanaka’s ninja training camp. It’s the oldest and largest castle in Japan, and has been designated as a National Treasure by the Japanese government.
