Somalia

Not all African destinations boast crystal-clear beaches, acres of savannah and wildlife safari. In fact, Africa has some of the worst poverty-hit and poorly managed nations in the world. Take Somalia, for instance. This small African nation is well known for its slums of Bossaso.

Poverty is not the only reason for you to consider while visiting Somalia. The cities in the country are rampant with human trafficking, piracy, illegal arms dealing, and drug smuggling. The crime rate in these cities is substantially high too. Considering these drawbacks, you and your family may not want to plan a holiday in Somalia for sure.

Guyana

Guyana is a small nation on the coast of Caribbean in South America. Although there’s no harm in visiting Guyana, there’s just not much to see or do in this small little country. Cities like Georgetown are dangerous for tourists, especially at night. Guyana is also known for its border disputes with Venezuela and Suriname.

The country is home to some beautiful waterfalls, national parks, and wildlife habitats – but you can find these in many other South American and Caribbean destinations too.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh boasts a beautiful and colorful culture. This Asian country has the friendliest and nicest people too. However, the country is very poorly managed. The capital city of Dhaka has the worst ever standstill traffic, unbelievable air pollution, and horrific road conditions. You can spend hours in traffic. Rivers and ponds are badly polluted too.

The reason behind all these is the country’s dense population. This can make your holiday experience unbelievably dissatisfying. The country is badly hit by corruption too. Considering these facts, this country can be a difficult place to be for a vacation. While planning your South Asian vacation, keep these things in mind too.
