One of the easiest distilleries to visit in Scotland is the Edinburgh Gin distillery, which is located in — you guessed it — downtown Edinburgh. Situated in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, steps away from ritzy Princes Street, Edinburgh Gin has become known for their incredible flavors that are popular with tourists and locals alike.

Their distillery is very conveniently located, so make sure you reserve your tour well in advance. They suggest at least five months ahead for weekend slots. They have a few different tours, but their most fabulous offering is the Gin Making Tour, which allows visitors the opportunity to craft their own bespoke flavor of gin.
