The Best Pizzerias in the World
| September 5, 2018
Di Fara Pizza – Brooklyn, NY
Di Fara Pizza has a rich tradition that stems from one person — owner and founder Domenico DeMarco, who has been personally running the kitchen since he opened the restaurant in 1964. Di Fara’s is thought to be the best pizza in New York City, and wait times for tables regularly stretch past two hours.
DeMarco makes each pizza by hand. Doing everything from kneading the dough to the final scattering of fresh basil over each slice. Three of his seven children work alongside their father in the kitchen.
