Cold Showers
I mean, who likes cold showers, right? Unless you’re traveling around the coast, where they might come in handy, sometimes you’re going to face the arctic ice showers and sulk for half an hour wrapped in blankets afterwards.
I’m from Brazil and we do like showering there, not only because it gets you cleaner, but also because it’s enjoyable and refreshing. Cold showers, however, are painful and really make you think you’re being punished for something you didn’t even do.
On the flipside, I believe I can take ultra-fast showers nowadays — you either don’t wash and quickly become a social pariah, or you do it quickly. I chose the latter and I firmly believe my fiancée supports my decision.
So no toilet seats, no shower curtains and cold water can be a nightmare, especially if you win the big prize and get them all! You end up showering like an ostrich doing yoga, because you don’t want the cold water on you, but don’t want it on the toilet, which will be cold and wet when you decide to use it!
