Everyone Has the Exact Same Accent
Many people are familiar with the accents of Australians like Paul Hogan and Steve Irwin — much to the annoyance of most native Australians. Although these two men do reflect what some Australians sound like, they are not the majority. This accent is known as “Broad Australian,” and is very common in rural areas.
