Filmed in the Atacama Desert of Chile at the Residencia of the Parnal Observatory, this movie goer must-see comes at a price. The intense environment surrounding this hideaway makes it a perfect spot for astronomical observation due to the lack of air and light available but also makes it quite hard to breathe. The harsh environment also makes it impossible for anything to grow outside of the self-contained environment found beneath the observatory’s regulated interior.
