15 Jaw-Dropping Castles in Bavaria

Veste Coburg – Coburg Fortress
Veste Coburg guards the town of Coburg, standing proudly and displaying its majesty from the top of the hill. It’s one of the largest Bavarian castles and it also served as a state fortress for a while.
The famous reformer Martin Luther was one of its guests, while he worked on his Bible translation, back in 1530. The castle’s museum comprises many significant collections, among which I recommend paying special attention to the carriages and sleights, copper engravings and hunting weapons ones.
