Pub Crawl: The Top Pubs in Ireland

Nancy’s – Ardara

Nancy’s pub, in Ardara, County Donegal, has been owned by the McHugh family for the last seven generations. Originally, it was named after patriarch Charles McHugh, but when he died and left his wife Nancy to run the bar, she not only succeeded, but grew the business so much so that it was her name that came to be associated with the cosy pub.

The menu, which features plenty of family recipes, is made with lots of local seafood. There are plenty of ways to keep entertained while you visit – pub quizzes and live music are both popular pastimes at Nancy’s.
