Pub Crawl: The Top Pubs in Ireland
| September 4, 2017
Grace Neill’s – Donaghadee
Grace Neill’s pub, located on the coast of County Down, in the city of Donaghadee, is the oldest continually operating pub in Ireland. It was first opened in 1611 under the name The King’s Arms, but was renamed after beloved patron Grace Neill in the early 20th century. The bar area contains many antiques and original elements that date back to the bar’s first days in operation, but the dining room was recently refurbished and renamed Gracie’s Bistro.
They serve lunch and dinner, specializing in locally-caught fish. Grace Neill’s also host thrice-weekly sessions, on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday afternoons.
