The Hairy Lemon – Dublin
The Hairy Lemon is a slightly more modern pub in Dublin that does traditional Irish food and drink with a twist. They do the traditional steak, kidney pie, and seafood chowder, but also carry a selection of excellent Italian dishes.
The Hairy Lemon is located in Dublin’s Creative Quarter, so you’ll probably see lots of young artists who live and work in nearby studios, in addition to tourists and older patrons. The pub got its name from a famous Dublin character from the 1950s – a dog catcher whose face was stubbly and shaped like a lemon.
