The 12 Best European Holiday Towns to Visit this Fall
| September 14, 2018
12. Nynäshamn, Sweden
Europeans love their spas, and the little town of Nynäshamn is Sweden’s most well-known historical spa town. It’s less than 40 miles from the capital of Stockholm and is packed with local and international visitors every weekend during the summer months. There’s an annual harbor party, and craft vendors sell their wares on the boardwalks and through the old town squares. Cuisine with locally-sourced produce (especially fish) is served in many of the town restaurants, including the super-popular Nynas Rokeri & Fiskhall.
