The Best Distilleries in England
Sacred Microdistillery
For a distillery that bills itself as “micro,” Sacred Microdistillery is able to do a lot of experimentation in such a small space. While their primary focus is on gin, they offer several other interesting liquors and liqueurs. This includes their Sacred Rosehip Cup, a bittersweet liqueur that’s been compared to Campari and features uniquely English flavors like rosehips and gentian root. They also offer a few different types of vermouth, and a Christmas Pudding Gin that’s literally made by soaking real Christmas puddings in gin. They do all this flavor experimentation, plus their bottling, in a residential home in Highgate, London.
Sacred Gin is made in Highgate, North London. It is rather special as it is distilled in the creators family home making it one of the first and smallest commercial distillery of it's kind.@SacredGin #gin #ginfestival #fleetstreet #london #discoverlondon #explore #secretlondon pic.twitter.com/skDxu2ICEG
