11. Mt. Baker
Washington’s Mt. Baker is known for being a haven for snowboarders as it was one of the first resorts to welcome snowboarders 60 years ago. Mt. Baker is renowned for its powder snow, and huge yearly snowfalls. Located between the city of Seattle and the Canadian border, Mt. Baker is often busy on weekends but calms down considerably on weekdays. Mt. Baker is a part of the National Park system, so it doesn’t have some of the flashier amenities of other resorts.
Lift tickets for a six-day vacation will only run you $360 per person.
