Dulce de Guayaba
This dish hails from Paraguay and is made from a puree of guava, white sugar, and pectin which solidifies into a tart jelly-type candy. Dulce de guayaba can be eaten alone but is also commonly served with a slice of cheese for the perfect balance of salty and sweet.
