Somewhere between Barbados and Aruba (seriously, just don’t go there) an elderly Vietnamese-American couple Hue Pham and Hue Tran of Westminster, California disappeared into thin air while on a cruise, leaving only their flip-flops behind on deck. The couple’s son insists that they were happy and healthy and couldn’t possibly have jumped overboard of their own accord. He also accused the cruise line of mishandling the case and has since testified before congress to push for stricter regulations on the cruise ship industry.
