Travel the World from Your Couch: The Wonders of VR

Destinations

The Destinations VR app was a bold undertaking, even for a game developer as large as Valve. The concept is simple, create a hub for professionally created and user submitted virtual locations, and marvel as the online community pools its creative resources to populate it. The end result is a gigantic gallery of real and fictitious virtual locations that are ready to explore.

The app is free, so all you need is a HTC Vive or an Oculus Rift to explore the incredible database. Once logged on, the user can explore the Tower Bridge in London or, you know, the surface of Mars. Not only is the database ever-growing, but the app allows for multiplayer, so you can share the experience with your friends!
