Discovery VR is an app designed by Discovery Communications and adds an extra layer of depth to some of your favorite Discovery Channel shows. The app is free, which is pretty sweet. It also features exclusive content from popular shows programs like Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, and (are you sitting down?) SHARK WEEK!
It isn’t a travel app per se, but Discovery VR still offers up a highly entertaining option for VR-heads to explore the globe. That is, as long as you have an iPhone or Apple friendly device. If you don’t, you can always enjoy Discovery Channel’s catalogue of 360 videos on YouTube.
