The Genocide Museum in Cambodia also acts as an important historical reminder. This one though, is a reminder of humanities capacity for evil deeds. The building used to be a high school, but was converted in to a prison by the ruthless Pol Pot.
Under his leadership, Tuol Sleng was a haven for torture, murder, and countless crimes against humanity. Though the building has since been converted to a museum, it’s still unbearably creepy.
