Songkran Festival
Songkran Festival is the celebration of the Thai New Year happening in the middle of April. It started as a way to wash the sins, but developed into a fun massive water fight that lasts for a few days.
The best places to take part are Chiang Mai and Bangkok, but any tourist area will also be fair game. Just remember you’ll probably get soaked, so make sure you don’t wear your best clothes when leaving your hotel.
