Every year, Poland hosts the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage, one of the only film festivals in the world which celebrates achievement and innovation in cinematography. The festival has switched locations a few times within Poland – moving from Toruń to Łódź to Bydgoszcz in the 25 years since its inception.
The top awards given out at the festival every year are the Frogs (for industry pros) and the Tadpoles (for students). This festival is a great chance for young cinematographers to study with some of the best minds in the industry.
