Instead of glasses, partygoers in Thailand drink from small(ish) plastic buckets (complete with a convenient handle) filled to the brim with the spirit and juice or soda of your choice. There’s no need to spend all of your Bahts on buckets however, as the “vodka” or “rum” used in these drinks are often local moonshine mixes of much higher alcohol content than traditional Western spirits. Beware of the bucket!
