“Different” Doesn’t Necessarily Mean “Better” or “Worse”
People do stuff differently — whether they live across the street or across the world. Sometimes it’s easy to resent differences because they feel inconvenient. For example, when you find out that your grade at a British university will rely almost solely on one project at the end of the semester or how you have to wait around to see a specialist with the NHS. But if you give it a go and do your best to learn the pros and cons of both sides, you’ll often find that “different” just means that … different.
