2. Getting Robbed
So you fell asleep on the night train from one end of a country to the other. Upon awakening you will likely have anticipated the neck pain and cramped legs, but not your wallet and camera being gone. The money belt and fanny pack your mom suggested might seem lame, but somewhat less so when you’re stranded in the middle of nowhere with no money or identification. Even when sleeping, keep your valuables as close to you as possible. Like, prying them from your cold dead hands close.
