No Name, Colorado

Whether it was a lack of creativity or just plain laziness, we can’t be sure. No Name, Colorado was first settled in the 18th century and borders two natural areas: No Name Canyon and No Name Creek. The region didn’t have a name and, upon construction of the nearby Interstate 70, the Department of Transportation needed to put something on the exit-ramp sign. So, they went with No Name and the (non) name stuck!
