Why Travel is So Addictive

7. It’s a Confidence Boost
This is especially true for those who travel alone, whether it’s the first time they do it, or the 15th. It’s kind of like when you leave your parent’s place and get your own apartment; although it’s awesome, it’s up to you to fix problems if something goes wrong, such as late rent or unpaid bills.
When you’re traveling you have complete control over your decisions, and it can be quite empowering, as you realize you don’t depend on anyone else. So, you learn to trust your instincts, and at the same time, own up when you make mistakes.
