6. Keep Yourself Hydrated
It’s not uncommon for travelers who come from cold countries to struggle with the heat of tropical regions. When temperatures are too high, especially if the weather is humid, you’re constantly sweating and yearning for strong air conditioning. Dehydration coupled with extreme temperatures can cause heat stroke.
The best course of action is to always carry a bottle of water with you. It’s also important to eat hydrating fruits and vegetables like cucumber, papaya, and watermelon. Make sure you also use plenty of sunscreen to avoid severe burns.
