This berry is nowadays considered a super food, full of nutrients and good for all human ailments. However, it has been consumed by Brazilians for hundreds of years. In the south it tends to be served as a smoothie, cold and sweet, blended with bananas, strawberries or any fruit you may like. It’s popular with sports fanatics.
In the north, it’s served with fish as a main meal! I have tasted both and I must say I prefer it the southern way. You should taste both and tell me what you think!
