10 Things I Hate About Traveling
| February 17, 2016
8. Flies and Mosquitoes
I used to hate them equally, but nowadays, I think flies take the first prize! It seems I have tasty blood as every time I visit a mosquito-ridden country, I become their breakfast, lunch and dinner — and sometimes their afternoon snack!
Still, they have a purpose, they just want my blood, fair enough. As long as it’s not too itchy or I don’t get Malaria or Dengue, I’m fine with that. However, flies do my head in! They have the whole world to land on, but no, they have to choose my body. And they’re relentless!
Best course of action: use electric rackets on mosquitoes and flick the flies! You read correctly; just move your hand slowly and flick those micro flying beasts!
