6. Taxi Drivers Know Where Everything Is
Even though they drive around in the same city day after day, taxi drivers have not memorized the location of every hostel, restaurant or your friend’s street. Prior to getting into any cab, you should always know at the very least the nearest main intersection to the location you’re headed. Having this info will help to avoid any awkward cell phone searches and slow drives around the city while the meter runs you dry.
