Faloodeh
Delicious faloodeh, which is a popular Iranian dessert, is made with thin vermicelli noodles that are soaked in a sugary syrup and left to freeze, then mixed into a sorbet-type dish. Faloodeh is often topped with a little bit of lime juice, rose water, and cherry syrup. The result is a smooth yet crunchy confection that has been enjoyed by generations of Iranians since the 16th century. You can find it in any coffee shop or ice cream parlor in the country, and it’s often served as the finale of a dinner party.
