While media headlines seem to indicate turmoil in the Middle East, the truth is, travel trends indicate an increase in international arrivals that surpass those of typically-popular South America and European vacations; with this growth not slowing down in the least. In fact, the region is becoming the fastest-growing travel destination worldwide, and its Palestinian territories are front-runners with an increase of just over 58 percent when it comes to international travelers.

In response to this trend, Hilton Worldwide has opened seven new hotels in Egypt, as well as Banksy, celebrated street artist, helping to open up a new Bethlehem hotel recently. Additionally, TripAdvisor recently named a Dubai full-day tour of Abu Dhabi as one of the most-popular new travel experiences with their 2018 Travel Trend Report.
