Caleta Tortel, Chile
Scattered wooden houses, each with a jetty and linked by boardwalks of fragrant cypress wood, make up the quaint little village of Caleta Tortel, located at the mouth of the Rio Baker in southern Chile. There are no roads here. The road ends outside of town, and you must walk in yourself, although there are water taxis to help you get around. WiFi is unheard of, but dial up internet connection is possible if you simply cannot live without being connected. Though for those wishing to disconnect and have some peace and quiet, Caleta Tortel is the perfect choice.
