It’s hard to imagine that there are any isolated places left in America, but one still exists in the arid deserts of Arizona. Supai is a Havasupai Indian Reservation located inside the Grand Canyon. The 8-mile trek from the trailhead can only be made by mule or on foot. Or by helicopter if you’re really desperate.
