Kanom Jeen
Kanom jeen are a type of rice noodle made all around southeast Asia, but are extremely popular in Thailand. In most Thai restaurants, kanom jeen are available as a substitute for rice, so you can have any dish served over the noodles. If you’re visiting Phuket, in southern Thailand, make sure you leave time for a trip to Krabi, where the Ko Joi restaurant in Nuea Klong makes amazing handmade kanom jeen.
