12. The Hook

Now this one is a classic that pretty much all young teens have been told at one point or another. The story goes that a young couple are making out in their car when they hear on the radio that a murderer has escaped prison and is at large in the area.

The girl is scared and asks her boyfriend to take her home. He agrees, but heads out into the bushes first to take a leak. He doesn’t return.

The girlfriend decides to drive the car and find him, but the keys are gone. She then hears scraping noises – noises that sound suspiciously like a hook scraping along the side of the car – outside. She runs and as she gets far away, she turns around and sees her boyfriend hanging from a tree over the top of the car.
