7. The Rio Frio White Lady

The White Lady of Rio Frio is thought to appear as a white fog apparition near the Frio River. Back in the 1900s, people began talking about the story of Maria Juarez and her sister who both lived on the canyon. Maria was due to be married to a man named Gregorio, but he had declared his love to her sister. In a fit of rage, he shot Maria in the stomach, and to this day it is thought she still haunts the canyon.
