10. Consider Getting a Sensor
Sensors are still relatively new on the market, but they are awesome. You can wear one on your arm or belly and it will monitor your blood sugar (with a certain amount of inaccuracy) constantly. If you spike high or start dropping low, it will send an alert to your insulin pump or your phone. Talk to your doctor to find out if this might be a good safeguard during your trip.
