Moussaka
Another classic Greek comfort food is moussaka, a casserole of potato, eggplant, and ground meat, covered in a delicious béchamel sauce. It’s a common dish all around the Mediterranean area, but the Greek version is unique – all of the ingredients are cooked separately, then layered together for a final pass through the oven.
