Loukoumades
Greeks love honey, and nowhere is it more evident than in their desserts. Delicious loukoumades are simply tiny donuts that are deep-fried, then soaked in a rich honey syrup.
They’re often topped with grated walnut or a sprinkle of cinnamon. Any Greek bakery should be able to serve a good version of these – get there earlier in the day to make sure they’re fresh.
