Roseberry Topping – North York Moors
Roseberry Topping is the fantastical name given to a popular hill located in the North York Moors, in the town of Newton-under-Roseberry. Its jutting shape is visible for miles around, and the two-mile trail toward the peak passes through a beautiful woodland, which makes even the flat trail towards the hill extremely pleasant and interesting.
The circular path starts just outside Whitegate Farm and passes through Newton Woods, where you can see plenty of wildflowers if you’re there in the springtime. After heading out of the forest, the trail passes through a rocky landscape up to the peak.
