14. Nyponsoppa
Rose hip soup (nyponsoppa) used to be extremely popular in Sweden, especially in the countryside where wild rosehips could be picked from every hedgerow. Now, it’s a little harder to find on menus, but it’s still a popular dessert among the older crowd. The sweet-tart soup is best served with a dollop of whipped cream or crème fraiche, and is often accompanied by almond cookies.
