7. Crayfish
In Sweden, a crayfish party is considered to be obligatory at least once during the hottest months of the year. Although Swedish crayfish are becoming more expensive, they’re still considered the gold standard over cheaper American or Chinese crayfish. The perfect crayfish party involves piles of freshly boiled crayfish accompanied by bread and cheese. Beer and schnapps are served in abundance, and sucking on the crayfish to get the last morsel of tasty meat is encouraged.
