8. Butter Tea – Tibet

Another unusual tea is the famous Tibetan butter tea or po cha. Like the Mongolian Suutei tsai, it has a salty taste as it needs generous amounts of yak’s butter. Nowadays, it’s more common to find cow’s butter due to its cheaper price.
