While Lafayette, Indiana is considered to be one of the most intelligent cities in the U.S., Lafayette, LA doesn’t quite measure up to the same standards. Not only is the city ranked low on the basis of adults with college and professional degrees, they aren’t known to have an exceptional high-school graduation rate, with just 68.8% of students completing their high school education.

Initiatives to improve these statistics are being made however, so Lafayette seems to be on the right track.
