This Chicago suburb achieved infamy when Al Capone fled the city and resettled his bootlegging business in Cicero in the 1920s. Today, it’s considered infamous for other reasons; namely for its less than stellar education record.
Around 62% of Cicero’s adult population has finished high school while a mere 8% have achieved a bachelor’s degree. Around 19% have attended college.
